Hi,
I am an artist exploring our relationship to the environment through the medium of plien aire painting, photography and writing. I enjoy painting on location responding to the landscape, people and culture directly, though I sometimes continue developing a painting once I'm back in the studio.

In my current project, Antipodes, I travel to opposite points of the globe —beginning with Botswana and Hawaii. I post a few selections from each trip to flickr but you can see more, as well as view paintings in progress, on my blog www.antipodes.us

I've also included images from one of my earlier projects Along a Long Line (http://www.alongalongline.com) in which I traveled to four points along the 70th line of longitude. If you like my work check out the book Along A Long Line.
