About quartermane / Mike E. Perez  

Currently, I am a design student at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. My anticipated graduation date is Dec. 2008, at which time I plan on either working in Austin, San Diego or New York. My success in these areas will dictate how long until and where I will attend graduate school, but my top choices are Rhode Island School of Design, Cranbrook Academy of Art, Yale School of Art, or Savannah College of Art and Design.

I'm 27, and am looking forward to proceeding with my career in Art and Design. I originally graduated from Texas State Technical College in Aug. 2000, with an associate's degree in Digital Imaging. I immediately began working as a graphic artist for the Valley Morning Star newspaper, and remained there for five years. The last year I was there, I was the company's webmaster.

Of course, I enjoy illustration, graphic design, photography, as well as music, travel and gardening. I only see my future opening up ahead of me, and am at a great place in my life right now.
