MIKE PAL is a fresh and accomplished Calgarian with a constructive program of economic and political reform for the City.

MIKE PAL holds a B.A. with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Calgary and a Post Graduate Certificate in Publicity and Public Relations from the University of Toronto.

MIKE PAL has served our country as an Infantry Officer and Platoon Commander in the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2009 he deployed to Kandahar Afghanistan on Operation ATHENA and worked for the International Security Assistance Force as a member of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team.

Born and raised in Calgary, MIKE PAL was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal in 2005 for outstanding dedication to fellow citizens in the City of Calgary.

MIKE PAL is also a recognized baseball coach by the Coaching Association of Canada and was trained through the National Coaching Certification Program. In 2005 he was a member of the volunteer coaching staff for Team Calgary in Baseball Alberta’s Provincial Pee Wee Performance League.

Having recently worked in the Office of the Aldermen in Calgary, and for the Provincial Government in Edmonton, MIKE PAL is very familiar with the day-to-day business at City Hall. With your help, he may challenge for a Council Seat in October 2010.
