Fotógrafo profissional desde 1986.
Depois de alguns anos como free-lancer, foi co-fundador e Director de Fotografia da Revista "Volta ao Mundo" desde o lançamento em 1994 até Outubro de 2004
Entre 1999 e 2002, foi responsável pela renovação e implementação do projecto fotográfico da Revista "Evasões".
Júri de vários concursos de fotografia, entre os quais "FNAC - Novos Talentos de Fotografia" e "Foto - Sub / Campeonato Nacional de Fotografia Subaquática".
