I post only photos that I particularly like on my photostream, so assume everything else I shoot is significantly worse than what you see here.

* dcraw / UFRaw
* The Gimp

You can get awesome results this way, just know when you're entering 8-bit land.

I shoot mostly a Canon Digital Rebel XT, usually with my favorite cheap lens, the EF 50mm f/1.8 II.

Most Annoying Thing About Flickr:
When two natural light, warm-toned images happen to line up vertically or horizontally on my photostream, leaving viewers with the impression that I don't understand lighting or white balance.
