flickrsquared says:
"Microcebus is one of those rare artists who like few before him can turn a humble vegetable garden photo into digital euphoria. If Picasso wasn't dead, took photos, and had done said photos using vegetable gardens and random Aussise geography as subject matter, he'd still only be approximately 1/3 the artist this guy is.
On a planet capable of being captivated by Monet's bland, uninspired "paintings" of waterlilies, I only hope that future generations will evolve to an artistic and intellectual point where the full value of "Nick and Vege Garden" or the "Seedlings" series done during Microcebus' green period is fully appreciated. My hope for this grand utopian future reminds me of "Stage 0" where Microcebus' work once again not only mirrors, but highlights, life itself."11th February, 2007
