My aim is to only post photos here that I enjoy looking at. There will not be many family snaps, mostly picures I consider to be a part of the stepping stones towards being a better photographer.

I originally tried not to edit my photos. I preferred to take the photo the way I wanted it, the first time. I might have edited to add a watermark or remove a few dust bunnies.

Lately I have been a little more experimental (2009)

Equipment ...
I started with a Canon IXUS 330, upgraded to a Canon EOS 3000r (Film), moved onto a Canon EOS 30d and have a Canon EOS 1d as a backup.

I have been involved with Computers for over 20 years. I am married with a daughter and now run my own IT company. I needed an escape from IT (As it is 24x7x365) and photos is it. I love to travel and have done so throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and America. I have been a Microsoft MVP (2004 - 2008) and have had many IT privileges in life.
