I live near Seattle with my husband of 24 years. We have a golden retriever, a newfador, and a cat.

I like gadgetry, networks, bicycles, animals and pets - especially golden retrievers. Camping and hiking. Linux, sports, coffee, microbrews and of course - photography.

I have loved photography from the time I took it in HS and worked in a darkroom.

I started with a Pentax K1000, then a Canon AE1. The past 20 years I've been using P&S's - my fav is a Fuji Finepix F20.

(UPDATE!) I have purchased my first DSLR - a Pentax K-X and am getting reacquainted with SLR's.
