I have had an interest in photography all my adult life but have become more passionate about it in recent years. I shot colour slide film for many years until I switched to digital. I really enjoy taking photos and I'm always happy when I have a camera in my hand. I am now in my fifties and still learning about photography, so any comments on my work will be gratefully received. I do ask though that you do not ask me to join your invites only or awards groups, thats not what I am about.

PLEASE NOTE:- If you send a request to be a "Contact" or a "Friend" but I find that you are just a "Faves Collector" and therefore not a "Contributor" with "No Photos" of your own with only "Web Found" stuff nicked from other Photographers then you will get blocked! In addition, if you have a "Blank Profile" page and no "Buddy Icon" that's another reason to get blocked. It's nothing Personal it's just Policy!

"Flickr" is now attracting an increasing number of sneaky people known as "Hit and Run Raiders". There are many members who have no photos of their own and yet attempt to select a whole stack of shots as their "Faves"! However, it's pretty obvious that no one can expect to mark up to 30 to 40 shots as "Faves" in one go, or over two days and expect to get away with it! This has happened to me recently. And on each occasion the offender has been blocked immediately! So be warned!
