Thanks for checking out my profile. As you can see I am an artist, photographer, and graphic designer. I paint mainly in oils but I also enjoy drawing in pen and ink, and the occasional watercolor painting.

As for the photography, I primarily shoot live music and band promotional work. Although I do shoot senior photographs, weddings, and other portrait work. I like to think of myself as an editorial/commercial photographer specializing in the music and entertainment industries. I am a freelance photographer and regular contributor/staff photographer for Out of the Blue Publications as well as a staff photographer at Alternative Revolt Magazine.

Because I spent many years as an assistant and photo-editor (as in color correction, manipulations, etc.) I still do a lot of that type of work for other photo studios and photographers.

My graphic design work is minimal. I tend to work with small businesses helping them with their visual communications and web related work. Warth Media is more of a supporting business in the Warth Arts family but has proven to be a stand alone business.

So one may think with so many irons in the fire I must be a full time creative geek. Well, yes and no. I work all the time. Weekends are spent on location with bands and or doing work for other photographers. If I have free time I paint. In the evenings I paint, schedule, market, and complete quick promo shoots. BUT...by day I am a factory worker who simply works the assembly line. I spent several years as a draftsman for a few different fortune 500 companies but I hated the commute and the pay was just "OK". I went to my current employer with the hopes of getting one of the two drafting jobs when someone retired. Well, 13 years later...the company decided engineers could work AutoCAD good enough and the drafting job was not going to be filled.

So here I am, a frustrated, should have gone to art college, should have done this, should have done that, artist/photographer/designer/factory worker who spends about 16 hours per day earning a living.

I am what I am, and I'm content with who I've become.
