Photography is a rather new hobby of mine, I only started taking it seriously around spring 2005. On Flickr, I have learned lots about photography, and I'm really grateful for that. Still, I have a long way to go. In November 05, I bought a Canon EOS 20D. Currently, I have a Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, 17-55mm f/2.8 IS, 60mm f/2.8 Macro, 70-200mm f/4 L, Speedlite 580EX flash and a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 in service. My Canon 17-40mm f/4 L is currently unused, I'll probably just keep it for the time when (if) I go full-frame. I sold my Canon 50mm f/1.8 II after I got the Sigma 30mm.

I'm working at the Technical University of Munich as teaching assistant and researcher in Software Engineering. Right now, I'm pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science.
