I'm a freelance translator and conference organiser and also work in academic publishing, from the UK but now calling Vienna my home. I've always enjoyed taking photos - especially when on my ever more frequent travels and enjoy mixing nature and urban architecture. Whilst digital photography and its spontaneity does not have the same thrill of shooting film, it is nevertheless an art, and I am trying to learn more about it and composition. I've not yet really got into photoshopping my pictures - and quite like the "au naturel" side of some of them.
