Hi, I'm just Michael.

I am over 18 years old (I'm 56). I am an amateur photographer in every sense of the word but I am learning slowly. All of the photos in my Photostream were taken by me, except for one set, so far and I have given credit to Lawrence. (© All rights reserved!)

I like taking photos of all subjects including nature, industrial, urban, cityscapes, rural, old, modern and unsual subjects and more. I would like to learn to take photos of nude males of any age, shape, religion and race. I really do like everyone. "Live and let live." I am fascinated by photographing the male form and how the human body bends and curves naturally. I think the body is beautiful and a work of art and best appreciated nude and all natural. Any volunteer models? I understand discretion and privacy would be respected. Let me know....

I'm a regular guy married (conventional) with grown kids and I am very deep inside my closet. I'm just your average, in every way, nice guy next door type. I only discovered my gay side a few years ago, no kidding. I am shy and that makes making friends in person even harder. But I really would like to.

I set up this photostream to explore myself through photography of all kinds it seems to be a way to understand who I am and understand my feelings better and my shyness and lack of self-esteem. I have never liked who I am, how I look but I am working on that with this self-improvement project. Putting myself "out" there to just be me. I need to do this project for myself I am not 100% sure why and I cannot explain it, but I need to. For this project, I am trying out different photo skills. I am pretty new to photography of any kind. Your comments and ideas are very welcome.

I like questions so feel free to ask me anything...if you want. Oh, to completely honest, I am trying to quit smoking, it's not easy I wish I had never started. I don't ever smoke around those who don't smoke though.
