I am obviously not a professional photographer, and not really even a decent one. I feel a little bit silly looking at the works of others here. Basically, I'm using Flickr as an online photo album. For storage reasons, rather than to show off my art. Just so you know.

I am a writer, folklorist, Christian, and avid reader; an emigrant from southwestern Ohio, supplanted in the Charleston lowcountry. I enjoy being outdoors, having long conversations, and devising theories on obscure cultural items.
