Started getting interested in photography a long time ago but I only got a bit more serious in the last 2 years while my wife and I were wardens at Volunteer Point in the Falkland Islands. We looked after Magallenic, King and Gentoo penguins and many small birds and seals. Great place to take photographs while doing my job.
Now I offer trips to visit wildlife to tourists while in the islands. I am happy to receive comments or requests for more information about my photos or the Falkland Islands and their wildlife.
I now run Derek's Tours here in the Islands and offer trips to many parts of the Islands such as Volunteer Point, Cape Bougainville, Cape Dolphin, Bull Point, Fitzroy, Goose Green, San Carlos, Darwin and Battlefield Tours. Contact me for more information.
