****I have recently had issues with people adding some of my work to their favorites, which I greatly appreciate, until I find out that that person just likes to favorite photos of girls that they think are hot. Please don’t waste your time bookmarking my photos just so you can stare at the models. DO NOT add me if you have a gallery full of your favorite porn shots, I have no tolerance for people who think that pornography is a form of art. ****

I’ve been taking pictures since I was old enough to support a camera on my own. I started out with a Canon Rebel T2 (film) but quickly learned that film and I do not agree on the meaning of a successful photograph. I started playing with digital on an inexpensive Kodak Easy Share Point-and-Shoot and learned that even the cheapest cameras can take great macro shots.

Now I’m a freelance photographer, in the process of getting my Associate Degree in Digital Photography, shooting with the first Canon Rebel in the digital generation. I own Photoshop Elements 6.0 but rarely use it. I just don’t believe that photography should be based on how well one can use Photoshop (no offense to anyone).

I’m ecstatic about having my own business and I enjoy pretty much every form of photography, except explicit material. My goal is to capture the moments that would otherwise be overlooked or forgotten. There is simply too much beauty in this world and in the faces of those we love for the little things to be ignored. My dearest love is in nature, landscape, and wildlife photography. I’m deeply inspired by Art Wolfe. Google him.

Please note that I do not use Flickr strictly as a portfolio site. I have the good, the bad, and the ugly photos posted here for friends and family. And every photo is a learning experience.
