Hi, fellow Flickr'ites,
My name is Simon and I live in the county of Berkshire, England. I have been interested in photography since the early 1970's. My first camera was a Russian Zenith E, basic but very rugged, followed by an upgrade in 1991 to a Minolta X9. This served me well until changing to digital in 2005 with the purchase of a Canon 350D. I sold that in November 2009 and upgraded to my current camera, a Canon 7D. We also have a Nikon 7900 digital compact which serves as a capable backup.
