I am a digital photographer currently specializing in birds and more recently mammals. I started digital photography 11 years ago for family and travel photos,but turned to photographing birds 6 years ago to better identify them in connection with introductory birding courses. I have been gradually retiring from 45 years of being a med school professor. Over the last 4 years,I have become more serious about bird and nature photography and the art behind it..
