About me
Born in Germany, lived in Virginia for nearly 20 years, California for 5 years, Istanbul, Turkey for about 5 months, and have happily settled in Seattle, Washington.
Graduated with my M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Spring 2010 and now I'm a university ESL instructor. Languages include English, French, a little German, a little Turkish, as well as bits and pieces of several others.
Total language geek, baker, paper crafter, collage artist, domestic goddess, and budding seamstress.

If it has to do with most anything period, vintage, retro, antique, rockabilly, steampunk, you can bet I'll probably dig it.
I adore musicals, film noir, singing, photography, roller derby, clothes, reading, creative writing, birds, collage and ATCs.
I love traveling and have been to 15 countries and 26 American states. So many places to see, so little time and money.
I actually enjoy cleaning, I try to recycle everything I can, and I love keeping a neat tidy house.
I love the smell of clean laundry, baking, cinnamon and clove, and freshly cut grass. I like natural organic food and products. I'm not a vegetarian, but sometimes I like to pretend. :)
I'm an absolute tea fiend and I believe that it's totally worth it to spend good money on good tea, chocolate and books.
Happily engaged to the most wonderful man!
