  In general, I am not a big fan of people shots, but Meral has a talent for capturing people who are unaware that they are being watched or photographed. People who are just doing their normal daily routine.
  
  I like her style, because I enjoy watching people in my own daily life. Through Meral's eyes and camera, I am able to see life in a different country.
  
  Meral's shots make me smile a lot and at other times gives me reason to think deeply about how life would be as a less fortunate street person or someone who has lived a long life, showing at times the pain or pleasure of growing old.

  "I don't remember who commented who first, but I think I remember just clicking Explore/Recent photos once and Meral had just posted a set of interesting pictures. And so I clicked and commented!
  
  That's how far back we go.
  
  But since then, she has always dropped by to leave detailed and often funny comments on my stream. I wish I could be as insightful sometimes!
  
  As a photographer, I've seen her develop style, skill, a discerning eye, and street courage! She loves stolen moments, and I love her takes on street personas. Interesting crops, and framing makes her one of my enduring favorites.
