I am still in the infantile years of my hopefully life-long photographic development. I started taking an interest in photography in April 2007, when I bought a Sony T100. I soon found myself inseparable from my beloved compact and addicted to photography. I guess it might be hidden in my genes somewhere, as my dad used to be a photojournalist.

In December 2007, I was blessed with one of the (then-) best Nikon DSLRs; the Nikon D300. It has been my most prized possession since. [UPDATE: my 70-200 f/2.8 VR costs more so I suppose on a purely monetary scale, the telezoom wins. But then again, what use is a lens without a body?]

I have, since April 2007, taken approx. 20,000 photos. 10,000 on my Sony and 10,000 on my brand-spanking (though probably not anymore after 10,000+ shutter actuations, lol) new Nikon. [Yeah....it's more like 70,000 now. PLUS it broke a few months back when it fell off a chair onto soft carpet (the 70-200 attached didn't help...). But it was fixed for about $250 -- not *too* bad.]
