I am back for a bit but I am also working full time so I am going to post as often as I can. I have missed posting and taking pictures so hopefully I will quickly get back into the swing of things!!! Thank you to all of my friends here that have checked on me!

I am just trying to be me. I am nothing special. I absolutely love photography. All different kinds and styles. However, I am just an amateur, so my pictures are still pretty basic. I dream of becoming a professional photographer one day though. Or at least a professional photographic autobiographer of myself. I think my life is pretty interesting and little things interest me.

I had weightloss surgery about 9 months ago and I am just now getting comfortable with myself and slowly but surely the skin I am in as well. I have a long way to go yet though. So, I apologize in advance for all of my self portraits. I am trying to find myself and express myself in any way that I can. Don't fret though, I am not expressive enough to put my bits online ... at least not yet. I am happily married. Currently a LPN, but back in school to become a nurse practitioner. I use photography to de-stress myself though. A picture is the best exercise a person can get, not to mention the best story a person can tell.

I am happy to accept advice from you more seasoned photographers. I will be honest to say that I am doing this without school-based knowledge. I don't want to lose a good thing in my hobby by making it a job. It means so much more to me to just take pictures that mean something to me, or that I see art in some way or another. I have a long way to go, but I am taking pictures every day to work at perfecting.

I will also warn you guys that I am living in Kansas, so the photo moments are perhaps more limited for me than for many others. There is mostly flatland and flint hills, so bare with me on this :) I miss my home state of Minnesota. The mountains and lakes are really majestic and worthy of photographic capturing.
