I'm Cris Melo, living on the East Coast (USA). I'm into painting, sewing and making things with my hands. What I create I I sell to nice people around the world, via the "Internets". I'm reluctant to call myself self-taught anymore, since I learn so much from so many, but I do not have formal art training. I tried, at one point, but I don't think it was the right time or situation, so I quit.
When I came to the US, it all came back again in my life. I got a computer, found eBay, and began to draw again.

I've always loved photography. As a kid, I hogged my family's camera (I still have it, an old Olympus!), and was the self-declared official photographer. The process of freezing a moment in time to later see it materialized was (and still is) fascinating to me.
Though I'm unable to always reply, I love to read your comments! But if you have a time sensitive question, it's best to use the Flickr email feature, as oppose to a comment.
