The bus driver dances
on the roof of his apartment building.
The sparrow hides
from a man made of sticks.
The bride ascends a staircase naked.
The blue-veined incubator baby flies
through the open window.
The shut in makes love
in a sea anemone.
The ant glitters closer
to her sister in the dark.
Dreams bleed through the ear drums,
seeping like light
under the closed doors of the eyelids,
cerise, violet, turquoise, gamboge orange,
fused in the sky,
molten cored, melted glass,
incandescent forget,
the sun does
rise.
