a 30-something mother of two who likes to craft and cook. i recently moved to ithaca, ny and the flickr community is great to make moving less lonely. i started quilting a little over two years ago and fell in love. i belong to 3 quilting bees, and a few other swap groups.

i love fabric and trying to manipulate it into something . right now my favorite color schemes are orange/grey, red/turquoise, chocolate brown/orange/aqua and anything with linen in it!!

i absolutely adore patchwork and zakka style! i am trying to teach myself how to paper/foundation piece and improv piece fabrics. i suck at math though!

i have two wee ones, a boy and a girl. i love birds, owls, forest animals, gnomes, all things japanese, and anything cute.

my kitchen is currently orange/aqua and my family/living room is grey/orange. i love color, i tend to shy away from pinks and some purples, but have seen them look great in small doses.

my most favorite fabric ever is the grey seeds from flea market fancy, other than that i love pretty much anything that isnt too girly or have tons of pink or purple. i really adore the cosmo cricket early bird line, ruby star lines and chunks of heather ross and anna maria horner lines! i LOVE LOVE LOVE LINEN... in all its forms.
