I try to make evocative photographs that bring out feelings in the viewer. I love to shoot film although I also enjoy digital as well and I get a kick out of alternative film techniques such as cross-processing or redscale or pinhole, not to be trendy, but for what they can allow the photographs to say. Alternative digital techniques are also fun, such as HDR or infrared.

I enjoy candid shots, landscape and nature photography and portraits. I also love to cook and to take pictures of the things I make.

My current main digital camera is a Nikon D300 but I also have a D50 converted for infrared
My 35mm film cameras are Nikon F5, F80, Minolta Maxxum 7000, Canon F1, T60, Minolta X700, Olympus XA and Olympus XA2

My medium format cameras are a Zeiss Ikonta 16/521 (6x6), Ansco Viking 4.5 (same as AGfa Billy Record II) (6x9), Koni-Omega Rapid 100 (6x7) and Bronica ETRS (6x4.5) and a British Made Microcord TLR (6x6)

I don't do my own developing, but once i have film developed I like to do my own scans on an Epson V600 and a Nikon Coolscan 5000 and then work with them in Adobe Photoshop CS5, Lightroom 3.2 and occasionally photomatix.
