I seem to have proved that the love of money and love of the EARTH may not be too compatible! -- How did i determine this? I put my site through an automated financial evaluation, which took about 3 seconds. Guess what my site is worth per this process ... ? What an incredibly odd outcome! To them it was worth virtually nothing -- all my hard work, all my contacts, my groups, presumably valueless to financiers!!! Apparently they give no credit to those working to restore a whole, healthy planet? -- not that i am too surprised. However, I assume we might add a significant amount to the sum their process offers. -- Realistic? Doubtful. Fair -- obviously not!! [Your own site evaluation, for comparison, might prove interesting.] Here is mine! :
This website is worthWhat is your website worth?

[see above]. Keep up your great flow of 'People + NATURE' images to Earthcare ACTIONS!! ~ and kindness!!
. WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR EARTHCARE?
READY TO HELP to NURTURE KINDNESS and ENTERPRISE for a POSITIVE FUTURE? Just offer online, or anywhere!! You can easily HELP MODERATE in our groups. -- Invite-Award to our group all the wonderful images of nature and helpers, which we find on flickr. Or take great pics of Volunteers at work, as images of EARTHCARE.
For our OCEAN & EARTHCARE Actions & Eco-Sail Training project, we need a globally-active eco-sustainable Patron plus MAJOR financial sponsorship, that is Ocean Earthcare professional, with vast interest in eco-sustainable living for summer and winter cities and communities. And we need a pro-bono legal team, for our Foundation setup. ~ Additionally, we need many Volunteers: including IT website developers, and support consultants, to create and launch a WEBSITE plus graphics designers, eg. we love inspired art and photography, and cool graphics, with regular updates to keep it all flowing. ~ We need volunteer teams for strategy development, non-profit business research, investor relations, special events, educational media and technology tool developers, promotional edu-documentaries, concept development, marketing, and management, website, online and media promotional literature, general news releases, news and features for group journal, technical writers, media assistants, membership support - development, and all teams essential for a global non-profit futuristic r & d group. ~ Your suggestions much appreciated.

. HOW DID I GET HERE?: This is a great way to face just about any personal growth issue!! -- While working for the UN Freedom from Hunger Campaign in London in 1965, I shared a flat with a UK Olympic fencing sportswoman, "Poppy", and so grew interested in the Olympics. Next I moved to Quebec, and wrote radio-TV commercials for contemporary Habitat Architecture, a part of Expo '67, in Montreal. Then I moved to Toronto, and ran a bookshop. In 1972, I returned to UK, to gain insights into the ancient landscape planning mysteries of Somerset's Glastonbury region, and later stayed in Scotland's experimental Findhorn Community, A few years later, I co-ordinated a 3-day music festival for the "1977 World Environment Day", in City Hall Square, Brisbane. Returning to North America, I toured aboard a Tall-Ship in Vancouver, about 1978, was volunteer Video Editor for the 1979 World Symposium on Humanity in Los Angeles, and Promotions support for the 1980 First Global Conference on the Future, in Toronto. Back in the UK, I was awarded consecutive grants from London's Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in 1987 and 1988.

In 1989, I was an invited speaker on "The Future Global Prototype Model Cities and Oceangoing Schooner Ambassador-ship", at the World Future Society 6th General Assembly Conference, Washington DC. From 1989 - 1994, I developed and managed numerous Internet Discussion Groups to advance Internet Communications globally. In 2006, I gained a Post-graduate Certificate in Arts Administration.

Check out my other groups -- 2 opened in April 2008, and more since then:

"I only wish more people were as concerned for our future generations and the health of our planet as Mel is. The earth can no longer sustain this rampant exploitation. We must promote a paradigm shift in the way we humans think about our impact on these finite resources and all the other species that share it along with us. After all this island in the vast ocean of space is to our knowledge the only planet that harbours life - once it is gone we are lost forever. Thank you Mel for your positive contributions to promoting and addressing these pressing concerns.I wish you all the best in your endeavours."

Mel is extremely helpful and supportive. She provided many insightful advices for the initial preparation of my book "Portraits of Arthropod".

I found her in one of the discussion groups, "The world through my eyes" which she was very active giving out comments, so I figured she would be generous with me too. It turned out she is!
