.................................................................

I have desires. I'll survive.

side effects of red

I love :
his eyes

the changes of light
Heraclitus
the wordless kindness of dogs
the scent of books

I love the enigmatic beauty of things

I don't know what- really- exists
I just try to perceive the chaotic structure of a real yet demanding paradise
I learn
I go on

And I embrace you, unknown friends.

    WarDimBro says:

"Melina is confident with her own skills, something really unfair for the rest of us :D. She really enjoys photography, making it a true part of her life, while she never hesitates to go through different types of experimentation, leaving for a while her typical (but so well-portrayed) and progressively shining agenda. I don't know her in person, but her character is easy-going and amusing and this is where it all seems to be starting from.
Although I still have no clue how can she pull out all this amazing color irrationality in her pictures that really makes her work so special, it's impossible not to like the great inside mixture of feelings than most of her pictures reveal. They can't make you feel happy due to their imposition of realism, but they are somehow providing a warm type of security.

A real artist of the streets who loves red colors :)"

"A visual langauge that can only be found rendered in the spaces between the pages, mel-pin's offerings are inked in secret alphabets more ancient than time itself. Poetry opens doors to realms never before imagined and these images are those doorways rendered in hues so vivid they remain etched on the mind evermore.

Waking dreams of dimensions we can only reach by trusting our generous guide, once embarked upon Melina's tour of the secret universe will never be forgotten."

She is the inventor and only member of her tribe.

"Every single one of Melina´s photos is an inspiration and an invitation for an artistic exchange. Her stream is the modern version of the 19th century salon, and it´s wonderful to be seduced by her brilliant and atmospherical dense pictures and words, to read the colours, the darkness, the poetry and the stories developped by her and her visitors and friends..."

Wash away your cares and sink deeply into her poetic ocean.

She has a great eye for beauty in the mundane and takes fantastic pictures of kids (very hard to do without looking like family snaps!)"
