I'm a 24 year old (seemingly perpetual) student, working on my second BSc, this time in nursing.

I took a photograpy class in high school (in an old locker room converted into a dark room, using ancient SLR cameras - before the time of digital!)... but have since only worked with point-and-shoot cameras. I recently got my first digital SLR (Canon Rebel XS), and I've quickly realized that I have a TON to learn about photography! Lesson #1 - it's not as easy as it looks.

I hope Flickr will help me improve - seeing others' photos, challenges like 365, and posting as much as I can! Wish me luck. :-)
