Meaghann Bakewell's photostream

i started out on a canon elph powershot sd1000. that camera is easily the best point-and-shoot i have ever seen. the sd1000 was discontinued and the closest thing is the sd1200 which i recently started shooting with. its quite similiar to the sd1000 but the outer design has changed. it may not look as nice as the old one (a tough little rectangle of silver) but the quality of its focus is astoundingly better. i would highly recommend this camera to anyone starting out and its pretty reasonably priced as well. i also shoot with an olympus E-510 and it's a bit of a monster. i love the wide lens for it - it has a very slight fisheye to it. beautiful machine.

these are photographs i have shot and uploaded in their original formats, for others to pull from the wondrous interwebs, for the family and friends of my projects. my first real gig was the marriage of Mike Wojcik & Rita Kapoor and those photos can be viewed in my sets, if not from the photostream.
