Integrated Water and Coastal Resources Management (IWCRM) IQC
Water is one of the most economically undervalued resources on the planet. The availability of clean drinking water and of the food resources associated with both fresh water and coastal fisheries is increasingly scarcer in many parts of the world. Many developed and fragile states have treated this resource as inexhaustible. This situation is due to actions or absence of actions by governmental, private sector, andindividual entities that hamper conservation efforts.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) addresses these and other water management-relatedissues with the IWCRM IQC (also referred to as WATER IQC II), which plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality services supporting missionactivities in the area of integrated water resources and coastal management. Activities are identified in individual task orders for award based on actual needs by missions and bureaus during the five-year contract period effective September 30, 2005.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the award on September 30, 2005 of the five-year Integrated Water and Coastal Resources Management (IWCRM) Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) EPP-I-00-05-00010-00 to the Mendez England & Associates (ME&A) Team as a prime small business contractor.
