I am an artist and anthropologist who has discovered a passion for historical research and genealogy.

My current artistic interests lay in the process of creativity and how it is essential our lives. I love to photograph “the moment,” shooting whatever catches my eye, and using digital textures and filters to enhance the mood.

The “Art Kitchen” came about when I realized much of what I like to capture with the camera (and research) revolves around domestic material culture.

My Photostream (for the moment) is mixing a little art and scans of my old family photos I’ve been researching. Some pictures were labeled, and many were not, some people I recognized, and some not... Some of the oldest images I have are from my third great grandparents.
