I'm qualified in electronic engineering - associated physics subjects overlapped photography occasionally, including optical characteristics of lenses and image processing.

I started out with a basic 110 cartridge film camera from Boots - a Christmas present from my aunt around 1979/80

I progressed through various film formats before digital eventually prevailed. My final 35mm film camera was the Canon EOS 1000Fn from the early 90's.

I currently use the Canon EOS 500D (T1i) I prefer landscape photography rather than portrait, but I'm always willing to make an exception if the subject grabs my attention.

I retain full copyright of all images available via my Flickr account but please contact me if you want permission to licence any image for publication, duplication and distribution in any format - I'm flexible regarding terms depending on the intended use.
