I am new to photography but have quickly come to love it. I shoot with a Canon and feel neither superior nor prideful in my choice.

I have a background in computer network administration, record producing and recording, live sound engineering, high school ministry, ice hockey, philosophy and ethics, running, victorian and russian literature. I enjoy history, art, and economics. I am a fairly decent writer and my voice isn't too bad. I am a believer in Jesus.

I am pretty smart, though my roommate is smarter. I correct others grammar under my breath. I have an uncanny sense of direction and work pretty well with tools. I voted for Obama but am not sure if I made the right choice.

I haven't laughed at anything Jay Leno said, I think, ever.

Right now I am drinking a Fat Tire and listening to M83; Leigh Nash was just on and Winterpills is next on the playlist.

I live in Southern California but I still have the heart for the MIdwest - tornadoes, hail, blizzards, heat waves - weather that tries it's hardest to actually kill you.
