MCB is an umbrella body of many Muslim organisations, and strives to promote co-operation, consensus and unity amongst Muslims, regarding affairs that affect Muslims in the UK. We encourage and strengthen initiatives made for the benefit of the Muslim community, as well as helping to encourage community cohesion. The Youth Committee was created to reflect these values, specifically tailoring them for the youth. Our aims are to:

1. Represent our affiliates and the British Muslim youth
2. Celebrate Muslim youth’s life style and achievements
3. Develop and Empower Muslim youth
4. Promote Muslim youth’s engagement and participation in wider society

We intend to deliver these aims through the empowerment of our affiliates and organisations – to build their capacity and means to facilitate for the youth – in this ever more challenging climate. We wish to create a platform whereby we are all able to share our knowledge, experience and good practices and thus enabling all of us to create and expand initiatives that benefit young Muslims to be better citizens adhering to both the values of the UK as well as that of our faith.
