I trained at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

After attending the Academy of Art University I spent a year working as a freelance designer. I won a contract with Broderbund and built the Pokemon Pokedex interface for the Pokemon online game. I also contracted with Minds Eye Media as a lead character animator.

I taught and worked as the Curriculum Developer for 3D Exchange, a digitial animation and design school in Alameda. As the Curriculum Developer I developed a 2 year 3D Animation and Modeling training program, a 1 year 3D Animation and Modeling program. While at 3D Exchange I also developed a grading structure and student project tracking procedure.

I then worked with eStudio, a flash animation studio, as a Project Manager. At eStudio I developed methodologies for tracking and budgeting projects and oversaw the successful delivery of products to companies such as Warner Brothers, for whom we designed and built online games.

After eStudio my family and I returned to my wife’s hometown to raise our sons. I joined CH2M Hill a fortune 500 company and one of the top three engineering companies in the world. At CH2M Hill I assumed the role of the 3D Visualization Specialist and GIS Analyst. I worked on photo-simulations of proposed facilities, Fly-By/Through animations of freeways, interchanges, and structures. I integrated CAD data, GIS data, and hand-built 3D data and blend them into a 3D animation presentations. Eventually my role as a GIS Analyst dominated my time at CH2M Hill.

In 2009 CH2M Hill divested itself the GIS division selling us to Golden Gate Capitol, a private equity firm. Golden Gate Capitol reorganized us and formed Critigen, a company specializing in geospatial information technologies.

At Critigen I work as GIS Analyst and have assumed more team lead and managerial roles. I began working on and overseeing the production of GIS assets for large remediation projects such as the closure and clean up of military bases for civilian use such as Lennar Mare Island in California and Galena Air Force Base in Alaska.
