  "so i just now figured i hadn't written mike a testimonial yet!
  i'm going to start with the fact that mike is so clever, and so funny.
  he takes wondrous photos of places i wish i could go and the thing is, he makes most of them. his sets are so innovative and meticulous. i never would have thought of vhs tapes as a backdrop, or placing a sailboat and fairy lights in one room. his editing is superb. and even though he is such a brilliant mind, he remains so astonishingly humble about it all. i think he's a genius.
  and even if he wasn't, he'd still be just an all-around amazing person.
  
  p.s. once somebody was being really mean to me and mike showed me this lovely video that made me feel a thousand times better, and i will always remember that and love him for it.
