My name is Maya and I’m 17.
I love life, most of the time. My mind is the farthest thing from spotless.
I’m slowly finding myself, one day at a time. What I’ve realized is that I’m very passionate, with everything I do. When I like something, I really like it. If I like you as a friend or more than that, I really really like you. I try to be myself around everyone. You either get my humor, or you don’t. I love laughing, and making other people laugh. I see the beauty in everything, and the good intentions in everyone. I love acting. I sing and dance for fun. I don’t like to be surrounded by people who complain too much. I don’t like to eat too much junk food at once. It affects my mood. I prefer to listen to music everyday. I don't have a gender or a sexual orientation. Neither do you. I exist as Maya and Maya only. I love movies. I’m really foulmouthed and snarky a lot of time, but not in a mean way. I curse a lot and I overcompensate with humor. While I am dirty sometimes, I am also a closet hopeless romantic who cries during movies and I have moods where I want to be taken seriously. Equality is my rule of thumb. I think life is beautiful and I try to make the most of it, but sometimes I get sidetracked. I’m going to go insane the day I turn 18.
