  "Adesso credo di sapere che fotografo è Max-Zip2: il fotografo della notte. E' una fotografia, questa, assai difficile. Il controllo del contrasto, ancor prima dell'esposizione, rende questa tecnica fotografica, di difficile controllo. Ricordo l'uso massiccio della pirocatechina, come rivelatore per pellicole, per attenuare l'invadenza delle luci artificiali. Nonostante le attenzioni, sviluppare e poi stampare un notturno, dove insistesse un certo equilibrio, era sempre, o quasi, un'impresa. Per Max-Zip2, evidentemente, non è così. Una delle ragioni risiede, certamente, nell'uso del digitale, però, credo, che il lavoro di post produzione sia intenso. Ma non è questo il punto, anche se credo sia importante parlare anche di questo, il punto è, dicevo, che Max-Zip2, riesce a restituirci atmosfere che, sicuramente, appartengono al bagaglio emozionale di ognuno di noi. Se non fosse ritenuto irriverente, direi che Max-Zip2, è un po il Brassai (mi spiace ma non so mettere i due punti paralleli sopra la i) che vaga nell'etere. Ma, ovviamente, è solo un termine di paragone per spiegare la mia ammirazione per Max-Zip2. Brassai, come sapete, fotografava la Parigi notturna. Riprese di selciati bagnati, lampioni nelle nebbie, passeggiatrici, e viveur con il fumo di sigaro a coprire il volto e con papillon argentati ad incoronare camice bianchissime. Max-Zip2, ci fa vivere, paesaggi industriali, fumanti e, perché no, dove stazionano prostitute di periferie industriali. Insomma, paesaggi senpre suggestivi, dove può nascere, possono nascere, altre storie, oltre quelle dell'alienazione produttiva. Spero che Max-Zip2, approfondisca questo suo argomento, che ritengo interessante, oltre che istruttivo, fotograficamente parlando."
