I generally refer to myself as an amateur naturalist. I started out being an illustrator, but was meant to be a nature nut.
I just started photographing digitally since June 2006.
I've been shooting Macro (with a film camera) for over 10 years now.
You can try to contact me about image usage, but I haven't been able to keep up with checking my emails lately:

In June 2006 I bought my FinePix S7000 camera and I decided to start a project involving documenting all the animal life in my yard/neighborhood.
Maximillian Millipede is actually my favorite pet (an altered photo of which is my "buddy icon").
August 2007:
Well it's been a little over a year since I started taking Digital Photographs and it's been really a blast! I plan on continuing to frantically photograph everything I can focus my camera on, and of course my art...
October 2007:
I purchased a Nikon D40X...
March 2010:
I purchased a Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR
Now I have 2 cameras to lug around with me!

Coastlander says:
"I've been a fan of millepede's photos since i joined Flickr. Her photos stuck out in all the groups i joined, especially the detail in the taxonomy, which i can appreciate being a biologist, incidentally, i also fancy myself a naturalist. Anything that moves or lives around me is amazing, which i think millipede captures in her shots, its GREAT she enjoys what can be found around her. I look forward to many more of her eye-catching, life-promoting shots."
