Retired Sheffield University academic, behavioural ecologist and neuroscientist. Worked on electric fish for 20 years, rats and humans for 15 years. Still working part-time on Parkinson's Disease at the Salpêtrière hospital in Paris. Here is our current study on Parkinsonian gait.

Retired from academe to South Burgundy in 2001 for a calmer, if more anarchic, life. Not uninfluenced by better climate and challenge of house restoration - food and vineyards also played a tiny role ;-)
