I'm a Londoner who runs a South East Asian shop in Cape Town.
In my spare time I like taking pictures of things.
Particularly things like dogs, scooters and monks.
And monks with dogs on scooters.

I rock a Canon EOS 300D and a lens or two.
Nowadays, I'm amassing a collection of film cameras that currently consists of a Canon EOS 500N, a Holga 120CFN, a borrowed Nikon F, a Rolleiflex, a Halina Paulette, an Ensign selfix, and an Olympus trip 35.
Yay film!

I live mostly at maxbarners.com but also post my stuff at flickr, deviantart and (occasionally) at jpg mag where I look for inspiration from photographers who are Actually Good TM.

I also enjoy monkeys, cheese and cooking Thai food (but not all together).
I do not look at all like Simon Pegg.
