I grew up just outside of Sydney but have been living in London since December 1990. I loved taking photos as a kid but it wasn’t until 2004 that, after a trip to Barcelona & some mightily disappointing snaps, I decided to learn a bit more about this photography lark. Needless to say I’m still learning!

I started out on an Olympus OM10 that I still have – what can I say, I felt so guilty when I part traded it for my first Canon SLR that I went back to the shop & bought it back from them! Eventually I discovered the wonders of digital, the magic of Photoshop & the joys of Flickr. I now own a Canon DSLR & CS4 but a more recent hankering after the magic that is film has led me down the medium format path. One Holga & a Bronica SQ-A later, (not to mention a steep learning curve again!), I feel like I have the best of both worlds & am pursuing my passion for photography with renewed vigour. Just wish there were more hours in the day for me to do so.

I live with my very patient boyfriend who puts up with my need to get my regular photographic fix. What more can a girl ask for :-)

Similarly, please don’t be offended if I don’t make you a contact when you’ve made me one. I like to keep my contacts at a manageable level though I will always try to leave a comment on your stream if you’ve been kind enough to leave one on mine. If however you don’t make any images available to me or I find something offensive on your stream I will block you.

is my favourite quotation. Nope, I’m not that deep. Came across it on a bookmark (believe it or not reading is my other passion be it chick lit or something more substantial). Seems like a great way to try & live your life doesn’t it?
