I love savouring the moment, taking the time to absorb a time or place, and that's why I like photography - it allows me to attempt to capture that.

And for all you cameraphiles interested, having traded in my Canon EOS 500 for an S2 IS, I've now gone for a 1000D, which reminds me a lot of my old 500. I also recently took out of the cupboard at the folks' place the Kodak Instamatic my Grandma gave me about 20 years ago and will attempt to see if I can get something interesting out of it...

Oh, and, I never made much of it, but I was quite proud to have one of my photos used for a $1 stamp in June of 2007, as part of a series on modern architecture.

Workwise, I'm currently Social Media Producer for 7.30 on ABC TV,
