Hawai'i life. Shred life. Chill vibes.

Growing up, involved in skateboarding & exploring this small island with good people. If it wasn't for skateboarding, I don't think I would've ever picked up a camera. I was always inspired by the photos in every skateboarding magazine I picked up, every poster at the skate shop, etc.

I remember seeing all the rippers that represented the skateboarding scene here in Hawai'i while I was growing up, & they all were a big inspiration, as well. I loved how the skateboarding life in Hawai'i never really died, it just got stronger & I guess, more united. The skateboarding scene is definitely blowing up here. Just the whole lifestyle of a skateboarder, I've grown to love.

Photography was something I wanted to pursue, while sticking to the roots of skateboarding. As I grew more & more into photography, I realized that every photo gives off vibes. That's mainly what I wanted to be able to do, so I can sit back & look at a photo & just remember or feel, y'know? I love documenting all the homies, or just the life in Hawai'i. Real talk! I'm inspired by everything around me. Life is about progression & you can definitely see progression from when I first picked up a camera, to what I put out today. Lots of change & progression. I pretty much taught myself everything I know today, by reading a lot & studying the photos in skateboarding magazines or in any magazine I'm interested in. A lot of the local material that circulates around here is a big inspiration to me, for sure.

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see & everything to do with the way you see them." - Elliott Erwitt
