As a preliminary matter, not all the photos in my photostream are my work. By posting them, I do not intend to claim credit nor attribution. I intend only to display those images or sets that are of interest to me; and regardless of my subpar photography, I just like to amuse myself, and create useful diversions to escape from the rigors of incessant work If you see one that is your work and would like for me to remove it, or to give you attribution, I'll certainly do either at once. If I know to whom attribution should be given, I'll note that information henceforth.

That having been addressed now, I'm simply a father and a lawyer who toils day to day no differently than so many others.
I do enjoy photography immensely but admittedly, I have only rudimentary skills with the avocation, if that. Many of the photos in my photostream are provided to me by local friends; others from flickr friends. Most represent someone or some thing of significance to me. I consider the aggregate of the images, and my comments or correspondence to others here, a part of my genealogy.
The titles I pen are spontaneous thoughts that come to mind as I name each--a "stream of consciousness"-type response.

I include Roller Derby photos and material as tributes to the resurgent competitive sport generally, but also to exhibit my support to the Memphis Roller Derby organization, to which I once served as General Counsel. These women across the land personify "Female Empowerment" .

My current public service activity dovetails well into my pro bono service as a lawyer. I travel frequently to learn about matters of civic education and sometimes present on public policy in professional development settings. One objective is to boost awareness of the nexus between the duty and responsibilities of citizens toward governance to the success of American Democracy. The "Project Citizen" curricula, along with the "We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution" are extraordinary models for interactive teaching of young people by methods that motivate them to become participants to effectively influence or change public policy throughout the land. "I have a dream...."
