I got into photography first in february 2008, using a Nikon thanks to one of my best friends, Roberto, who was used to lend it to me in our afternoons together in Bologna, teaching me what he knew about photography.
Then I decided to buy my very first camera, a Canon 400D, in june 2008. After a few years of experience, I bought a Canon 7D, that has now become my "third eye".
The journey I feel I started with photography is completely changing me, day by day, because it's not just about technique (even though you always need technique to communicate properly and to reach your goals), but it's all about looking and discovering, learning to really know people and the world around you, feeling the right moment and being filled with wonder, even in situations that other people would just consider "ordinary".
Photography is about life and death, reality and dream, matter and soul... and travelling with this passion means getting to really know yourself.
