I'm a programmer, turned grad student, turned back to programmer. I know about natural language processing, statistics, and information retrieval. I know about pointers, references, objects, types and lists. I know about higher-order functions, capital-C Curry, and tail-call elimination. It makes for horrible dinner-party small talk, but it sure is interesting to do.
On Flickr recently, I've been taking pictures of Vancouver, going through some old family photos, and documenting my coffee intake.
Equipment-wise, because it's more fun than a list, here's a collection of photos I've taken with my several various cameras, except for the digital one, which is everything else. Sometimes I use an invisible flash, too, which you really ought to try – it's fun.
