I use primarly a Canon Eos 550D and two lenses, Canon EF 50mm, f:1,8, and Sigma 24mm, f: 1,8. This was an upgrade from the Canon Eos 400D that I used for most of the early Taiwan streets shots of this stream.

I do some film too, with a Canon AE-1 and two lenses, 50mm f1,4 and 85mm f1,8.

My second argentic camera is a Yashica Mat.

I'm a Holga fan but the success rate is so low and I'm so tired to develop pictures washed away by light that I lately gave up somehow, until one day I'll be dragged again into the Holga thing.

A couple of pictures were taken with a small digital camera. I now use a Ricoh GDR-III.

    Yubai K says:

"Citizen L has the ability to perceive what makes people exceptionnal or special. He can also feel how spaces are shaped by atmospheres and what makes the "dramatic potential", the "cinematographic dimension" of places and people. Morover, the very clever attention he's oftenly paying to the fascinating human nature are fuelling his art. That's why he's a great photographer : He knows how to put so much in a photo. That's also the reason why I love his photos !!"

    Wen Talks to Shoes says:

"I really really enjoy watching his photos of Taipei. There's a beautiful sense of a quiet observer into them.

and to my surprise he somehow managed to keep this chamring sense while he shoots his own city and yet so close, so invovled..

    He's great!"

"Photography is everything but simple. It is the art of capturing more than only a moment; it is the angles, the colors, the lighting, the speed at which you release the shutter and eventually transform ordinary into extraordinary. Not everybody can master this art, sometimes it takes a lifetime, and you really are on the right path my friend! 加油!"
