Born & grown up at Lake Constance. This is a beautiful spot in southernmost Germany, close to the swiss border. Studied Architecture for Dipl.-Ing. degree (= MSc) in Weimar, Thuringia. Had an IAESTE student exchange to the Emirates in 2002. After some work as IT supporter / system administrator now working as scheduler in the up- and downstream oil business.
I like to take photographs and have had this as a hobby for longs years. But most of my treasures are on slides and still need to see the scanner...

Not a self description: Almost all of the pictures taken to June, 2006, were made with a Nikon F801s on slide film (Kodak Elite, Agfa CT100). Some few very old one were done with a Chinon CE-3 or even with a Minolta SRT-101 (cool thing, dude!) They were scanned on a Canon CanoScan 27xx (university) and a Microtek ScanMaker t35+ (my own).
Most of the pictures taken after June, 2006 were made with a Nikon D50.
